Can I pay my sewer bill online?
Yes! You will need the following information:
Name on the Sewer account, Property Address, your Phone number, Sewer account number, and the amount of your Sewer bill. There will be a service fee to pay be credit/debit card. Go to our Sanitary Department page for more information.

When is brush chipping done?
Brush chipping is done the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. Due to higher volume at certain times of the year, we may continue brush chipping on subsequent days until completed.

When is garbage & recycling collection?
Howards Grove contracts with Advanced Disposal Services (formerly Veolia Environmental Services) for curbside pickup of garbage and recycling. Pickup day is usually Wednesday, except if a national holiday or severe snowstorm fall on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, in which case, our pickup day will be Thursday. Recycling is picked up every other week, depending on which side of Hwy. 32 you live one. For more information,

How do I report a burned out street light?
All street lights are maintained by Alliant Energy. You may complete an online report by going to www.alliantenergy.com or by calling 800-255-4268.

Where should I place my mailbox?
Please follow US Postal Service guidelines. This will allow for efficient delivery of your mail, and help to limit potential damage from snowplowing activities.
